Who you am not.

"You never, never can find yourself as you now describe yourself.

You could never find something that has no existence in reality. So when people, maybe you, say, 'I want to find out who I really am,' you'd better find out first who you am not. (Laughter)"

The world is as is our consciousness of it.

If you don't like the world, change your consciousness. That is all there is out there (your consciousness) and it's the only thing you can change, the only thing that you should try to change. Make the world perfect by perfecting your consciousness and all will be perfect.

Belief that the world is real.

It is the belief that the world is real that is the cause of one's difficulty in keeping out habitual thoughts. Were it not for this belief, realization of your Self would be easy. And this is your prime difficulty, this belief that the body, mind and world are real.

Take Full Responsibility

"Would you want one practical key for quickly reaching the Goal? I would recommend that you take full responsibility for everything that happens to you. We have lost sight of our mastership and have deluded ourselves into thinking we are victims in a world that controls us, that pushes us around. It isn't so! We are causing what is happening to us by giving power, our power, to the external world. If you want to regain your control, you must take full responsibility."

Still I AM

"M: ...The three states are of the mind. The Self is always uncontaminated. It is the substance running through all three states. The waking state passes away, 'I Am' remains; the dream state passes away, 'I Am' remains; The sleep state passes away, 'I Am' remains; they repeat; still I AM"

Yes, it is that simple

Now is New.  The answer to how, is Now.  Now is how. Now knows. Come back to Now.

Simple truth of one reality

M: The highest wisdom is too subtle for most minds, and so a whole scheme of worlds, gods, bodies, evolution etc, had to be given out because people seem to find it easier to believe all these things rather than believe the simple truth of the One Reality -- the Self.

The Kingdom of Heaven

So when told the simple truth that the Kingdom of Heaven is within, some people are not satisfied and will read far-fetched meanings into the statement. Mature minds alone can grasp the simple truth in all its nakedness.

Giving speeches

"Make an experiment. Watch what happens when you ask someone a simple

question. In many cases the question could be answered yes or no, but

do you receive such a brief reply? Rarely. Give someone the slightest

opportunity to make a speech and they make a speech. This experiment

makes you more aware of human compulsion and nervousness, which helps

your own stability. A golfer noticing the wrong move of another player

does not make the same mistake himself."
